The holidays are here! And you need to wrap some gifts! I’ve designed these adorable printable reindeer gift tags for all your gift giving needs this season. For this design, I was inspired by a retro color palette of red and light blue. A darling reindeer smiling happily will bring back all the nostalgia of 90s Christmas cartoons. I’ve left blank space to write the recipient’s name as well as the sender’s. If you’d like to write more, such as a personalized message, you can do so on the back.

8 Creative Ways to Use My Printable Reindeer Gift Tags
There are endless ways you can use these reindeer gift tags but here are some of my favorite ways.
1. Fill homemade treats such as caramel popcorn or a mix of roasted nuts in clear cellophane baggies. Using a small hole punch and twine, tie the printable gift tags around the clear baggies. (Ribbon also works great!)
2. Cut out the printable gift tags and glue them to the top of mason jars. Layer the mason jars with a hot cocoa mix layer and a marshmallow layer and tie a ribbon around the lid to complete the packaging.
You could also fill the mason jar with:
- homemade spice blends
- jams
- spreads
- savory jellies
- chutneys
- brown butter
- ghee
- lemon curd
- cranberry sauce
3. Make a binder of your children’s art and family photographs. Tie the binder with ribbon and add these reindeer gift tags. Grandparents will especially appreciate a gift like this and children will feel so proud sharing their masterpieces!

4. Use brown lunch paper bags and fold the top down. Tape the gift tags to the centre of the bag to keep the bags closed at the flap. This is a great idea if you’re taking the brown paper bags to a child’s classroom or if you’re hosting a children’s party. Brown paper bags are a great size for loot bags and you can fill them with store bought individually wrapped treats and a small toy like a bottle of bubbles.
5. Make homemade craft kits or activity bundles. Fill a small box or bag with coloring sheets, stickers, crayons, or a simple craft for kids. Attach a reindeer gift tag to label who it’s for and who it’s from. It’s perfect for classmates, neighbors, or little cousins, and the tag instantly makes the bundle feel festive and personal.
6. Attach a toothpick to the back of the gift tags. Insert the toothpick into a cupcake and leave it on your co-workers’ desks for a sweet surprise the whole team gets to enjoy!
7. Write short gratitude letters or reflections about the past year on the computer and print them out – or write them by hand. The computer route can help you save time if you have many people to write to and a similar message to express to all of them. Then stuff the letters in envelopes. Glue or tape the gift tags to the envelope for a fun graphic on the outside of the envelope. This idea is best suited for hand delivered envelopes!
8. Attach bells alongside the reindeer gift tags. That way when you gift your package, it will sound just like Santa’s sleigh bells when it’s being pulled by reindeers!

I hope these ideas help spark some inspiration. Holidays don’t have to be complicated. Small gestures of care and thoughtfulness go a long way.
