It’s spring which means it’s time to update my Thanksgiving Pie Slice Box into something creative for Easter. I present to you an Easter Cake Slice Box – shaped just like a carrot! This cake slice box is perfect for serving your guests take-home slices of your delicious homemade (or store-bought cake).

A slice of cream cheese carrot cake is a no-brainer for a craft that’s as extra as this Easter cake slice box. But you don’t have to be obvious by putting a slice of carrot cake in this cake box shaped like a carrot. Lemon cake, coconut cake, even earl grey lavender cake are really nice this time of year. (Shown here is a store-bought cream cheese red velvet cake if you’re curious!)
Hosting can already be a lot of work so if you love this cute idea but don’t have the time to incorporate it into an upcoming party, use this idea for something else! For example, take a Easter cake slice box for each of your co-workers.
You don’t have to use it exclusively for Easter. It’s an adorable favor box idea for a baby shower, such as a Peter Rabbit themed baby shower, or a kid’s birthday party. Plus, when you have some co-hosts, putting together crafts like this can feel a lot easier.
The biggest time-saver of all though for this craft is to just get a Cricut machine. All the cutting will be done in a matter of minutes! I promise you. You can even have the Cricut machine score the fold lines so you don’t have to press as hard with your hands to fold each box.
Materials
- Printable template

Steps

Print out template onto orange cardstock.
Cut and fold along fold lines. For sharp creases, use a bone folder.ย

Now use the green cardstock paper to make the leafy tops.

Personalize each box by spelling out the name of guests onto the green leafy tops with gold alphabet stickers.ย
